Captiva Euro assistance

Asked by pedja Jul 28, 2010 at 11:06 AM about the Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Question type: General

I want everyone to know that I had terrible experience with GM Captiva Euro assistance. Not only that GM didn’t provide what it was committed to , but I had to drive 1000 km with the broken Captiva with two small children. As an epilog of this extremely unpleasant experience my lawyers will initiate process against GM and I stopped driving Captiva after less than two years since I bought the new car. This was not the first mayor problem that I had with this car. Immediately after I bought it, it needed to be repaired, and I had to take it to service quite often. Besides that, the arrogance and unprofessionalism of GM office convinced me that I should never think of buying GM car again, and that I should get rid of Captiva immediately.
I would be glad to share my experience with anyone who considers buying GM cars…

Please do not buy a Chevrolet Captiva Sport. I have a 2012 and at 15,000 miles had to do top head and since then three more times. Same problem. I was supposed to have a lifetime warranty and the dealership which was Chuck Graves in Humboldt, Tennessee sold out to Jones Chevrolet. Before saleing out they had already done major head work and at 15,000 miles. I have since had the same problem 3 more times and the second time the lifetime warranty people said they wouldn't cover second one due to Tom Taylor's Chevrolet in Martin, TN. Failing to put down tire rotation when changed oil after servicing it. Can you believe deny warranty of motor based on dealership not including tire rotation on paper or in computer? I am disabled and this vehicle has been repaired 4 times for the same reasons. If i were Chevrolet, since I've always been a Chevrolet person and never having any problems with any other vehicle, I would want to pull the Chevrolet emblem off of this type vehicle. I have been told by people who also owned these types ,same vehicles , same problems. I wish someone could help me know what to do.
