it will start and it will stop then will start again trying to accelerate but it wont go higher than 1000 whats it the matter ?

if you are refering to 1,000 RPM check for a plugged converter

Easiest way to check is to have someone rev the engine and you hold your foot over the exhaust pipe then take it off quickly. If it blows a lot of stuff out, then Steve has your answer.
