Yes probably, and you won't be buying a part at Partsbin for a classic 500 XL and why would you want to put in something that takes away from it's value? Screw Partsbin, Partstrain, and all of those sites that are all owned by the same Company, U.S. Autoparts Network Inc. All those web sites or a vast majority of them are all owned by the same company and the only difference is prices. Any company that sells parts that they claim are called Replacement Brand are frauds and they are USAN. Big scams in the aftermarket world. Take the switch out and have it rebuilt.
