How hard to replace foward belts in a 1986 gmc sierra 3500 dually transmission

Recently checked fluid level .drove to
store aprox 8 miles got into leave had
no fowrd gears checked fluid had lost
3quarts no burnt smell refilled still
nothing so i puet it in reverse and
drove hm

Seems to me that the reason your truck wouldn't move is because you were low on fluid. Where did the fluid leak out of? Bad pan gasket?

I beleave so have yet to comfirm but it looks dry from there up ive topped it off still nothing

Your dually should have the TH400 and there are many forums that deal with that transmisson and the TH350. I have a TH400 in the motorhome and there was one in my old dually. Awesome transmissions especially after I put shift kits in both.
