Transmission problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When car is cranked and went to put in drive it will
go in drive reverse an all other gears but when you
take off within just couple of mins it comes outta
gear an revs up but no jerks or nosises are heard or
felt so you cut it off an back on does same thang
fluids are at correct level an color does anyone no
what this means?

I would guess it's a worn torque convertor. You will need a replacement transmission or rebuild the current transmission in most cases. Have the vehicle checked out by a qualified transmission shop or mechanic.
