I have a 1968 GTX. 426 Hemi 4 Spd dual 4s, Black paint (S6X), black lower Stripe, Black Interior, Black Vinyl Top (306), Disc brakes (479) Sure grip Rear HD (408).... I just inherited it, my dad bought it new (less than 3000 miles on it, is it a collectable? not that ill sell it.
No one wants a hemi car ;) If it is a real hemi car and in good shape you have a car worth 6 figures.
Theres only 421 in the world. Keep it in the family. And if i had the money id buy that "hemi car" there not great. BUT there the BEST conversational peices Ive always loved the body style
But average value ive seen at auction started around $75,000 an gone up to $125,000. Depends on conditon.
It is all original, I have build sheet intact, all my dads Dealer purchase sheets, Service record, etc....i just couldn't find the # made anywhere. Its been inside stored, never crashed repainted etc.... just serviced
Do u have the manufactures certificate? Ur dad should have gotten one if he bought it new from the dealership. An im sure if u look up the vin number u could find the number build. But sounds like u have an amazing car. If ur looking for a price just for shits an giggles id call a antique dealer come look at it.
I will look for it...He wanted to get an AAA Certificate? some kind of authenticity inspection? i'll look into it... all i know is it sits in my showroom...like brand new, not a lick of road grime or dirt.. and ill keep it like that pass it on. it was his baby. Thanks for the help
This might help with ur vin. Decode it. But last digits is the production number.
I have a vin decoder on my laptop for my shop an its. Saying theres no registeted car with this vin.

Post some photos! Since you can prove this is a one owner car it could be quite valuable if it has never been altered, has the original motor and is in good shape.
To get top dollar you should have GALEN GOVIER authenticate it. http://galengovier.com/
want to buy this car any day of the week, let me know if its for sale by any chance
