This could be that you have dropped the key and the glass transponder in the key is brocken. These Bantams have a Bosch PCM and the transceiver/key reader was developed by Robert Bosch in Brits in South Africa. The code 1.4 is :Partial Key read and vehicle does not start. At least two keys have to be coded to this system. It could also be the key reader problem. First check all of the fuses are OK, and then the relays. In the central electrical box, swop the brown relays arround. The power hold relay is lower left to the center. These key readers and PCMs are repairable if its a PCM problem.
