Question type: General

if two people in single household have a Prius, how do you prevent cross over
with remote keys

My wife & I both have a Prius (2007 & 2016). We park both in the garage next to each other. We have never had a crossover problem with the remote keys. I cannot lock/unlock her car with my remote. I suspect that they use different frequencies or modulation for each car. Otherwise, someone with a single remote would be able to steal every Prius in a supermarket parking lot ;)

Put a different sticker, or other indicator on them... like the wine glass identifiers. lol

Use a silver sharpie to mark the remotes- or a dot of colored nail polish on the back
