My car starts then dies.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car will start then immediately dies. Before this happened my gages was kicking off and on while I was driving. My car is drivable, when it starts. And the gages kick off and on the whole time I'm driving. If anyone could shed some light on my problems, I would greatly appreciate it!

Make sure your battery has good connection,s and is fully charged,sound,s like it is a lose ground wire.

I have a 1988 z24 cavalier it runs for 20min and cuts off I done put a new fuel pump and a fuel filter and sparks plugs I don't understand what's wrong can u help me with that problem
