Camero Engine

Asked by rfelecia Jan 24, 2018 at 08:14 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Camaro

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 2000 Chevy Camero without a
motor. I want to know if I can buy any motor and
put it in there or does it have to be the same year
and model? V6 Automatic.

With work you could put a V8 in it but you need to stick to the same year or real close. Make sure what ever you install is smog legal in your state.
