I have a 2002 Chev montycarlo and I'm having trouble with ele. Windows ,can't get to go up or down

Note the diagram. Check the wiring on hinge side of driver door. the yellow wire is voltage, the black wire is ground, check them both. You can use a test light to check. Because you open and shut the driver door so much, sometimes those wires break? Note the window circuit breaker at top of diagram. If faulty window motor, it can trip the circuit breaker. I've seen circuit breakers get hot to the touch because of faulty window motor. W/o testing I can't be sure if problem with master switch--window motor or wiring circuit.
