Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The gauges in the cluster are moving erratically and the trans. is slipping. Could this be the results of a bad ECM?

Hello, after reviewing my previous post, I realize I listed an incorrect year model. Actually the year is a 1998 Riviera. And I find out the problem. Its a failed alternator.
