2008 Pontiac G6 GT will not start

Asked by Sara Mar 01, 2020 at 08:21 PM about the 2008 Pontiac G6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT that I just bought last week.
My husband changed the brakes and rotors and now the
car won't start. I've done some research and it seems to
be the anti theft system? It has full power, lights, radio
everything else works. The engine is not even trying to
click. We've tried every work around we've found on
Google and nothing is working. Tried all of these resets,
still not working. Please help!! Any help or advice would be
greatly appreciated!!

Try to start it in neutral... other than that the ignition switch supplys a signal to the bcm to check antitheft, if its oo the bcm tells the pcm to enable the starter relay

Yeah we tried that too. Also tried shifting from neutral to park and still nothing. I may have to have my keys reprogrammed. Is there not anyway to disable the anti theft? Maybe pull the fuse??
