'08 Mustang Coolant/Anitfreeze leak.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Mustang V6 is still leaking coolant. It
hasn't been leaking when it's cool outside or
raining only when it's hot. I still haven't gotten my
coil pack changed so it still idles low and only
seems to overheat when the low idling begins. My
car doesn't constantly idle low only after traveling
20-30 miles and when it's hot. When looking
under the car the coolant isn't on the ground but it
looks as if it's leaking from the top, I usually screw
the top on until it clicks 2-3 times to make sure it's
on. When looking under the hood it looks as if the
coolant has leaked and dried. I'm tired of
spending money on antifreeze EVERYWEEK.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?!

I have posted this recommendation on this forum on another vehicle but got back some negative comments about this product but i stand behind it because it worked for me . It is bars radiator stop leak. There comment was that it would clog up your cooling system . Yes it would if you do not follow the instructions it says to flush cooling system first this would get rid of any contaminates that are in the system so that it would not cause system to clog and also do not add more stop leak to system if one bottle does not work that would also clog up your cooling system. It all boils down to whether or not you would like to try it. Google ( amazon ) then type in ( bars leak ) and check out the reviews and go from there . By the way i used bars leak on my head gasket leak two years ago and still no leak and no cooling system clogs.

Thanks. I'll have to check it out. We've already replaced the water pump and thermostat in my car. Now it's the oil pack and this leak we need to fix. I just got the car in April.

I need something for temporary use. I won't be able to go to my mechanic for a week or two. He's a friend of the family so it won't cost too much on my part.
