If the red light key indicator in the dash is illuminated then it is the anti theft device. I had mine removed. Mine would disengage the anti theft device if the remote control button activated a few times. only a short term fix until the device was removed and deactivated

We removed the anti theft device, but eventually had problems again and after trying literally everything, had to order a new steering column. It was a huge pain, and is definitely a last resort. I have read (and checked for) the gear box being out of gear and causing an ignition freeze, issues with bad fuses, and many other issues as it is a common problem with the discovery.

I have a 1998 panda rover discovery, I have changed my battery and now I have no power to anything. I have checked all fuses, checked for any kind of grounding and i cant find anything. Anyone have any ideas of what could be going on?
