Burning smell poor acceleration

I have a 2007 Saturn Vue. Today it was driving
fine then it started to slow down rapidly after i
let off the break more then usual. It started to
have a burning Rubber  smell and as i was
driving it home it wouldn’t accelerate past 60
mph. Can someone help!!!!
