vacuum hose fuel economy indicator

hello i hav a pontiac bonneville safari from 1979 and last week they have chains all the gaskest from the engine for me and take out the airco unit
now is my fuel economy indicator not working and i look under the dash and i see its working on vacuum but the hose is cut under the hood
can some one tell me where the hose must be connect?
i have a chilton repair book buy it on ebay but there is no info for this hose
its workking before the repair but someone cut this hose and now i dont now where to conect
sorry if my english is not so good i am from the netherlands

Hello, You can run another vacuum line or connect to the one from the guage and "tee" into just about any other vacuum line and it should work.....Chaz
