my car will not reverse

car will start but not reverse, will go forward if put in drive, also will not go into
neutral. can you tell me the problem and price to fix?

A transmission shop can tell you the problem and the price to fix. Sounds to me like that's where it needs to go. It's unlikely that you can do it yourself.
