Hello, There are a number of reason why the gas maynot be getting to the cylinders. Because it is an older car, any number of parts may need replacing, or just cleaning. You may want to start by running some high-octane gas through with a cleaner mixed in and see if that helps. If not, your best bet may be to bring it to a mechanic and have him or her tell you why it is not functioning correctly. Best of luck! CarGrrl
