1986 Nissan

My son just got a 1986 Nissan pickup that runs but sounds like a mad
lawnmower and it has no power. In the process of putting in new wires we
found that it sounds great and has all its power back. II know it is a air flow
problem I just don't know where or how to increase the air flow. Please help.

first thing to do is check for vacuum leaks
