No fire to the plugs

was jump-starting a Ford ranger with my 1986
Nissan d series pickup with a z24 engine all of a
sudden it just died and now it won't start no fire
what's my issue

Check fuses, cable connections, and ground connections. Hope you didn't hook the terminals up backwards.
