72 Bug w/rebuilt engine. Oil pressure is dropping at operating temp to about 15lbs., unsure why. Oil pressure light comes on at this point at idle but runs strong and great.

Are you sure you oil pressure switch is working correctly, possible the wrong was installed on the rebuild ?

Thanks for the answer. I'll check the switch and the oil pressure relief and control valves too. It has to be one of those things. Much appreciated, because I hadn't thought about that.
