Smart move don't crush the pump what does it bump up against If it's something on the chassis take a big bar and move the engine a little the mounts on these were weak enough to move, If it's the engine remove 4 nuts and related hoses then remove carb, Doesn't that sound easy? It's so much easier to write about it instead of actually doing it

It comes right in and out the bottom you don't have to get it by the carburetor. Or you can pull the four bolts on the carburetor and lift the carburetor and it goes right in also but easiest is the slide it in from the bottom reaching around the intake.
