Fires but doesnt run

I have a 86 dodge with a 360 4 barrel. It fires
just fine but somethin electrical is killing the
motor.  Im not to familiar witg electrical so
help me out.

How do you know it is electrical that is causing your problem ? When it does start how long will it stay running before shutting off ? Will it start right back up after shutting off ?
