Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Csr started to lose power while cruising highway .  Turned off, would not re-
start for  one hour. Then , all AOK drove 10 miles home .  Let sit one week.
Just trued to start. Engine cranked, not fired up. I listened for the usual
sound of electric fuel pump when I turn to ON . Not hear electric fuel pump .
I did hear what sounded to be a relay in engine ( driver wheel engine bay
area?)
Pulled engine codes visually :
code  1    2    = ?
code  2     2   =  Coolant temp sensor  Hi /low
code  4    2   =   Auto shut down relay    ( why ?)
code   2   2    =   Coolant  temp  sensor hi/ Lo  ( again !!!)
code     3    5   =  Radiator fan control relay circuit  Open /shorted
code  5     5    =   Done  ( I believe )

More info : ASD relay passed bench test . Is fuel pump the only suspect or is there more ? Can I check the 2 leads that the ASD relay feeds to see if there is continuity in the circuit (I am guessing that the 2 leads are the power supply and the return from electric fuel pump?? Do not know for certain). My initial continuity of these 2 leads showed open circuit . I fear bad fuel pump. Can anyone confirm / deny? I read that I can do a direct feed of battery 12v to fuel pump to check for sound of pump working. Did not do that yet.

Update : car sat 6 hours, I turned key to Acc position and heard fuel pump start pumping . It started immediately when I moved key to ignition . Based upon my experience, I feel that I have a faulty connection somewhere from after the ASD Relay. I would like to put my hands on the ground connection. I am told that it is " in the rear quarter panel ". Can someone send exact details / photo. I do not have a lift. Vehicle is in the street , so I do not have the luxury of raising it and doing a thorough search . Hope it is easy access from the curb parking position.
