I've been having some trouble and need help. My Dakota wouldn't start up the other day, right after it had been running hours before, and when I checked there is no longer any spark being created, or fuel being fed into the carburator. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

Drove the car out to my girlfriend's house the other day, went to leave on a trip, and found out it wouldn't start. I checked all the vacuum hoses, made sure all connections were tight/proper, and then checked for a spark and fuel feed. Found out no spart was being created, and no fuel was being fed into the carberator. Hasn't been able to start up since.

Sounds like an electrical problem, possibly with the Integrated Power Module (fuse box) or a relay. Have this diagnosed by a dealer or mechanic. Your problem may also be computer-related.

Thanks for everyone's help. I figured out what the problem was after much deliberation(it turned out to be a dark grn/black wire in the truck's "brain" causing the problems by not feeding the ignition coil, auto shutdown relay, etc.).

1999 dodge dakota rt having the same problem again but now im kinda getting somewhere. Now when it doesnt start but turns all i need to do is take the thottle body off spray sprat starter fluid and it catches and starts. Now it will be good for a week maybe more and it will happen again. Could it be the oxygen sensor? Or the fuel pressure? I havent checked them yet. U guys have any ideal. These are what i replaced n checked Pcm, ips, battery, sparks plug, cleaned out the fuel injectors, fuel pump.
