does it really matter if I use an 89 octane vs 91?.....so close...........tks..

The x type requires 91 or higher due to the compression ratio. Higher octane gas burns slower so if you use a lower octane you car will still run but it will cause problems. Lower octane can ignite from the compression instead of the spark plugs which is what you don't want. It'll cause problems So just spend the extra and give your car what it needs.
