1999 Dodge Ram 1500 clicking sound in engine

Asked by Jessica Jan 27, 2020 at 10:40 AM about the 1999 Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a clicking sound coming from the engine in
my 99 Dodge ram 1500 v8. My friend suggested
pouring transmission fluid in the breather and reving
the engine to flush it out. My Dad said not to do that.
I'm lost. Please help.

1 Answer

It's not losing oil pressure and even clicks when's it's in idle.
