Question type: Maintenance & Repair

01 Dodge Ram keeps dying. I first replaced
the battery, then the alternator, but the check
gauge light still comes on and my battery
needle shows it drained, then a couple days
after running it does.

scan the codes and get the definitions , you need a multi meter to see if the batt. and alt. are good , if you bought a cheap rebuild the alt. may be bad out of the box , Don't make a new alt. charge a dead/weak batt.
