Can someone help with trans problem

I've got a 1993 f150 4×4 and I was driving it out of
our rough driveway so I was just barely going when
something popped and it stopped pulling. Now it's
only got park, reverse, and neutral no forward
geaes. I switched the trans filter and didn't help.
What could it be

If you heard a loud pop then chances are high that the transmission broke a band or disc hub assembly.

I don't know anything really about transmissions is there a way to check the band without pulling it out

If you don't know anything then i recommend you tow it to a tranny shop cause it gets involved

If yours is rebuildable then do that, original is always better than a replacement, but if the case is damaged then you don’t have a choice.
