Check engine light flashes

Check engine light flashes only when I gun it. Also
it shakes when I press the gas.

It means there is a missfire. If you read the codes you may get code such as P0300 and P0301 or P0302. It could be a lot of different things. Anything from a bad spark plugs to catlatyic converter.

Yeah, sounds like a misfire. Go to the auto parts store if you dont have a code reader and see which codes it throws. You have an 8 cylinder so it will throw a code from P0301-P0308. If it throws multiple codes such as P0302 and P0305, it could be your MAF sensor located on the air intake. If it is the sensor, take the lid off of the filter and spray cleaner on the wire of the MAF and let it dry. Check out Chris Fix on youtube for more into
