I would like to find a set of 18 inch wheels in a nice spoke design that will fit my 57 Thunderbird.

I think 18"s and even 17"s may be too big to fit.

Why on earth would you bastardize a 57!? Unless this has been made into a street rod (God, I hope not), I would keep it original. If you must do this, make sure before you buy them that you will have full turning, right to left on the front wheels and that the rear wheels don't bottom out on bad bumps

I only change what can be bolted on to change the look,i save all original parts.
