Its underneath the dash on the drivers side... look for a switch with a red button pointing straight up kinda recessed in the black switch.. push it til it clicks then start the truck. If it runs and dies or doesn't start at all that was it. You can just unplug it too.. I believe to turn it back on you have to raise the red button with a pick or screwdriver.. or if you unplugged it.. plug it back in.

I was in front on accident where I was pushed from rear of my truck into another truck in front that was stopped turning left. It would definitely be considered a substantial jolt that initially must have tripped the fuel shutoff because my truck wouldn't start. A few days later I located and pressed the reset button . It starts and dies a few seconds later. Did I understand that I can unplug the switch bypassing and possibly allowing my truck to stay running fixing this issue . I have disconnected the switch once before and I don't think it helped . Is the correct position for the shutoff switch depressed or up once it has been tripped . My understanding is that once I press and turn my ignition off it resets and is left pressed down to go back to normal operations. This button is driving me nuts and other than a dented front bumper my impact didn't cause any leaks or structural issues . My truck just seems like it only get s a few drops of gas and then dies. I have even had to push the reset each time to get just the two seconds of run time. So If unpledged and bypassing will work . can you please tell me how to do it???
