value of the '78 Cressida?

I recently gently backed into one of this cars.  We actually were backing out at the same time.  There was a smalll dent on the rear right side of the car.  The man is saying that he got a $720 estimate for repairs.  I don't think that car is probably even worth that much money.  It did not look like any kind of classic; old paint job, not well taken care of. I can't seem to find the value of the 1978 Cressida. Blue book doesn't go back that far. Any ideas?

get him to show you the actual estimate from the autobody place he went to. autobody shops are honest about write- offs and if the repairs are worth more than the car itself they will say so in the report.
