Oil change

Asked by Russhella Jan 06, 2018 at 09:34 AM about the 1999 Toyota Camry Solara

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Toyota Camry Solora. I think it's
supposed to have 5w 30 oil but last time I took it
for an oil change they put synthetic in it. Now I
need to change it again. What should I put in it?
Please help me sort this out. Thank you!

I would use conventional oil and change it every 3,000 miles if that were my car.

Sound to me like the oil jockey made more commission by up selling you on your last oil change .Convenytional would be fine
