Asked by Moonrex May 25, 2019 at 08:03 PM about the 2000 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I checked the oil and it was dry so we put like 3
quart's of oil in it and it all spilled on to the street
from the bottom of the left and side if you where
facing the car..

That’s not a good situation. Maybe a hole in your oil pan or possibly missing the drain plug in the drain pan

Sounds like you have a hole in the engine block , was the engine making noise first ?

Either the block or a rust hole in the oil pan. Maybe someone left the drain plug loose and it finally fell out. Don't run the engine without oil until you figure it out.
