Chevy s10 2001 will not crank and makes a fast clicking sound.

Possible issues. Low battery, bad starter solenoid. Check battery voltage first.

Sometimes that indicates the battery is not fully charged. The clicking is the solenoid trying to switch the power, but the voltage is too low for this to happen. Check the battery voltage.

I agree with above. Have battery voltage checked. Also check the battery connections. They should be clean and tight.
