2002 Honda CRV Idle air Control

Had fluctuating RPM at idle
My mechanic said code was for idle air
control
He replaced the new one shorted out after ten
minutes replaced with another same thing
Did smoke test checked wiring
Still can't find what is throwing code after
replacing twice
Said when took off old IAC there were leaves
and such cleaned that also
So he has had car for 3 days did not hear
from him yesterday so that's not good news
Seems to not be able to find what is shifting
out IAC and throwing code after ten minutes
running
New timing belt car is serviced regularly and
has just over 110 thousand miles on it
