Battery Light came back on after new battery installed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery light came on around a week ago. I was able to drive about 4 miles
home and then it wouldn't start. I just jumped it and carried on with my life.

Today it came on again and I got the battery in it replaced but the light still
came on. Should I get the alternator tested/replaced? Any advice would be
greatly appreciated!

Test it of course..output at/on battery terminals with vehicle idling 13.8 -14.2 volts OK.
