Asked by kaambrose1 Jul 31, 2019 at 01:44 PM about the 2006 Ford Escape

Question type: General

We can put the CDs in, but they won't play and it
spits them back out. We just bought this 2006 Ford
escape, with no owners manual

Most probably the mechanism is broken or it needs a good cleaning. You can try removing an open it up to see or just purchase a new Headunit or a used one off ebay. Maybe $50?
