How do I disable the loud, external Reverse beeping/alarm in my 2006 Ford Freestyle?

Those back up alarms are wired into the back up lights. Take a look underneath the back of the vehicle for that wire and disconnect it. Find the beeper and then trace the wire up to a connector and pull it apart.

There’s a button on the console to turn it off. Near the bottom by the cup holders.
