What is a restored 1971 Chevelle Malibu convertible worth without the engine?

Asked by jtwagner Sep 03, 2015 at 08:44 AM about the 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I just blew the motor in my 1971 Chevelle convertible.  I am considering selling the body without a motor as I know everyone has their own vision.  I have had a few inquiries already, but have no idea what to ask for it without a motor.  Entire car has been redone...all the pans, interior, etc.  I have too much into it to not get what I can out of it.  Anyone have any ideas?

You will never recoup your expenses without a motor- even with a motor you might be upside down, I have no idea what you have in it- if it was a '60s car it would be worth way more- nobody will want to pay a premium price without being able to roll it around the block and check everything out- I'm guessin' at the most $7000-

My 64 SS and all extra parts just burnt up in a garage fire. No insurance total loss except my striker 389 roller. Balanced and a tremek 6 speed. I need a body and looking. If you sell. Respond to this

Jtwagner do you still have the Chevelle if so is it a convertible. Call me 404-437-9314
