1993 Toyota Camry starting problem

After driving a short distance (maybe a mile) and doing a 5 minute errand I'll return to the car and it won't start.No sound when I turn ignition. Warning lights etc. seem fine so battery should be ok. Not very old and no corrosion. If I let it sit for awhile it will start. If I drive it for awhile before turning it off it starts up no problem. Seems to happen when it has barely had a chance to warm up. Took it to repair shop and of course it worked just fine. Any thoughts?

still could be a dead cell in battery or bad battery connection also could be the starter
bang the starter with a hammer lightly while someone tries to start it. if it starts is the starter. Also try to charge your battery.
X2 on the starter. When it quits, check the small wire on the starter for power when the key is turned to start. If you have power, the starter motor brushes are too short and hanging up in the brush holders. That's why tapping on them works, it dislodges the brushes.--- If you do not have power, check the ignition relay and fuses.
my mechanic figured out the problem on my car when I had that problem. He said it was some type of heat sensor.
