2004 Saturn Vue

I have a 2004 Saturn Vue, I went to start
it one morning to go to work and it will
turn over but not start, I also noticed
that the dashboard lights are not
coming on either, could this be a fuse, I
need help as this is my only
transportation...TIA

No it will not start with a jump as still none of the dashboard lights come on, could it be a fuse or something

A battery can be so bad that it will not jump. I have had this several times. Open cell not completing circuit. Have someone put a voltmeter to battery while you try to start it. If voltage is below 10V then replace battery. My guess from your description is it will be even lower. If not battery it could be a fuse or a voltage drop on a wire.
