Help....regarding vcr in vehicle

HELP!!! I just got an 01 pontiac montana, it has a
vcr system. How can I disable the vcr. The
individual I got it from had messed with it. It's not
working to the best of my knowledge but
apparently since that time (of fiddling with it) the
battery will not keep a charge...think that is why. Is
there anyway to disable the vcr system?

Unplug it or pull the fuse. You can also cut the power wire to it.
