So driver side windows not working is a very casual issue with Pontiacs. If it still has power to it then you may simply need to take off the door panel and put the window back in track. If it has no power you will need a new window motor. A "clip" or piece may also be out of place. its no an expensive fix unless you have to buy a new motor then it's around 70-100 last time I checked.

I have a 1998 Grand Prix. My front power window motor went out. My son has a 1999 Grand Prix. Can I use one of his back power window motors from his car to my front drivers window in my car?

my steering works fine going down the road but when I slow down or stop to turn, I have no power steering....was told pump is good and I have checked fluid (scraped up hand, thanks GM)
