97 Nissan pickup shuddering

Have a 97 Nissan pickup that has a
progressive problem that started small and
is now is happening all the time. It would
shudder going into reverse or first gear and
sometimes at higher speeds. Also, the
driver side caliper locked up and had to
replace it and the flex hose. Rotors looked
fine. The brakes work fine, but it shudders
off and on until I get into fourth gear.
Wondering if the shudder is related to the
caliper fail and what to do about it.

A dragging brake might cause this problem but check the fluid level if it is an automatic or the clutch if it is a manual.
