Question type: General

Is it OK to finance a car with over 100k
mileage?

1 Answer

depends on the maintenance of the car mostly..my Mercedes 230S had 700,000 miles on it before I gave it to a friend...so oil changes....filter changes...all lead to a long mileage car...in your case would put my nose up the tailpipe and smell for OIL, Coolant...STEEL...Carbon...normal white with Carbon Dioxide and water...NO Carbon Monoxide~ nitrogen levels vary but should be high~ my 95 Nissan had a fatal flaw...the oil leaked and dripped onto the electronics of the distributor....not that all are leakers...but that is one thing you might keep an eye on...the BAse of the distributor for the presence of excessive Oil~
