Can I make my none turbo sohc 3000gt turbo

It's cheaper just to find a twin turbo engine and swap it that way instead of putting turbos on a non turbo engine I'm going threw the same process in my 92 mitsubishi 3000gt sl

Same question I guess I have a 1999 3000GT none turbo twin came can a turbo be put on it? Compression OK plus not knowing whether they're forged pistons or not etc found a car that was hit which was a turbo car can that be taken off and put on mine without having to change things internally on my motor? Most of all is it worth it?

Yxz2002 Yes it’s possible just be mindful of the boost, I am having a single turbo kit put on mine I will not be running much boost just want around 400hp I personally built my transmission. And have a stage 4 clutch

Thanks Mark for getting back with me sounds like it's better to just buy the whole motor out of my car and put it in mine since it was designed to have a turbo to start with The problem by putting that kind of money into this 99 which a lot of special options have been dropped at that time the car is no longer worth the value as some of the older models, cost wise it would probably be much simpler just to put a performance chip in it and call it good to go, i'm not sure how well they work what do you think ?
