2000 Montero sport/ won't start.

I just bought a 2000
Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
When I did, it didn't come with
a key. The fuel injectors were
not working after sitting for 2
years so I replaced all 6. Also
replaced 6 spark plugs. It still
won't start. Wants to, but
don't. Could the new ignition
system be why it won't start?
Any help would be great!!!

You will have to take vin to dealer and have an original key cut because they have a transponder in the key. The computer can have up to 8 keys saved into the computer. If the computer does not have that particular key transponder saved in it then the immobiliser system will be activated so then the fuel pump will not run nor will the computer send signal to the injectors and tell them when to pulsate. Also will have to have code to enter into stereo. Hope this helps.
